  • Interchangeably be metal or a molded elastomer type.
  • The contour of the trailing edge of the impeller vanes, in conjunction with front and back side sealing vanes, and the volute design work to minimize recirculation and reduce the stuffing box pressure. Reduced stuffing box pressure prolongs life of shaft sleeve and gland packings.
  • All alloy iron impellers have precision cast-in or machined shaft threads as opposed to an impeller nut or mild steel insert. Threads are machined while the impeller is in its fully hardened state.
  • A three piece segmented release collar provides a positive means for easy removal of large impellers (“F” bearings frames and larger).
  • Impeller clearance adjustment is done externally by loosening two hold-down bolts on the bearing housing and then adjusting two locator nuts.
